The wind of change throughout the Middle East, carries democracy, reform and stability, yet raises oil prices, hence settling at last the economy of renewable energies. Now is the time to support these wind of change and to benefit from the changes in the Middle East, where land, wind, sun, funding and green low cost labor are abundant.

For nearly 10 years now the World Wind Energy Conference and Renewable Energy Exhibition successfully promotes the development of wind energy all over the world.

The 10th World Wind Energy Conference, the WWEC2011, sets a platform for all the major players in the field of wind energy technologies, industry leaders, stakeholders, investors, policy makers and government officials, all gathered to highlight the latest technologies in renewable and to take corrective actions .

Each year up to 600 participants from over 60 countries attend the annual event which took place till now in Germany, South Africa, China, Australia, New Delhi, Argentina, Canada, South Korea and Turkey and which has contributed essentially to the progress of wind power deployment in all these countries.

The continuously growing number of participants shows that the annual WWEC with its high quality topics, speakers and attendees has become the international wind industry event for professionals in the field.

As Egypt is the leading country in the African continent when it comes to renewable energy we are proud to be the host of this important event in 2011.
