Carry out all contracting activities for the upgrade package in compliance with In Salah Gas and In Amenas, the Joint Ventures’ procurement policies and procedures, policies on business conduct and health safety and the environment (“HSE”) policies.
Involved in all aspects of the contracting process including but not limited to: development of contracting strategies; issue & preparation and follow up of invitations to tender; bid evaluation; attendance to the clarification meetings and reply to Contractors requests; lead of the commercial and contractual evaluations and negotiations up to award of the final contract and Contractor performance management.
Work closely with line personnel to ensure best value for the Joint Ventures’ in all areas where Supply Chain Management has an opportunity to influence.
Provide coaching to line personnel in procurement process and procedures, in the application of contractual terms and in contractor performance management;
Liaise with SCM Managers, Purchasing & Contracts engineers and Contracts Supt in order to anticipate variations within contracts and their implementation; Work in close cooperation with contracts Dept for maintaining contract terms and conditions up-to-date and for requiring spot assistance for specific issues. Develop, maintain and foster effective business relationships with customer departments, contractors & other operators and third parties as appropriate.

Translator in Supply Chain &Contracts Department
Translate Maintenance, Provision, Drilling, Engineering and logistics Contracts and Technical reports (from English to French & French to English). Monitor and evaluate Contract/Contractor performance to ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures. Writing and drafting technical reports and articles based on research, investigation and analysis, Operate a computer to enter, retrieve, review, or modify data; verify accuracy of entered data and makes corrections.
