Just a little more info regarding the project manager.
Been working at FMC and Aker Kvaerner at a lead engineer on umbilical in Norway for 3 years and sitting now as a project manager on 15 projects.
I have been interfacing with Statoil and Technipp products, coordinating engineering, controlling sub suppliers, customer support, supplying documentation, quality checking and in charge of all testing like FAT, F.I, in the field. getting sup suppliers to deliver "On time " , el. training and commission ..ect ..
I’m trained in electric, hydraulic and steel pipes connections and have special steel certification from my time fixing F 16 airplane frames and repair on site.
I have also been working before that as a Site manager on wind turbines for 5 years ( 3 of them aboard and 2 offshore) big projects with the same issues... build all the org. up, train the local technical hires personal in QS sys, service, stock, coordinating cranes, delivery, ect... make the plans for all service and reports ect.
I like having a lot of " balls in the air" and see my self as a very good candidate for this job if the terms are right.
