Mechanical Supervisor (Mechanical Engineer)
-Supervise the installation of rotating and static equipment as well as the levelling and alignment works and internal installation in an orderly and safe manner in accordance with Project requirements or standards. -To ensure that the works are implemented in a safe manner and in required sequence as per procedures. -Ensure that the equipment installation activities are as per Project and Contract requirements, specification and procedures. -To review the construction details and specification with site staff and ensure they fully understand the requirements of the contract including safety consideration. -Review all necessary documents/drawings and to ensure that latest revision are used -Prepare the Method Statement for the specific types of construction and/or installation works. -Coordinate with Vendor Representative and make sure that the installation works are in accordance with Vendors requirements and procedures. -Monitoring of Subcontractors works during construction period specially erection activities with safety and good quality for responsible implementation of QA/QC Procedures. -Conduct pre-inspection, in-process inspection and post inspection for mechanical works base on latest approved drawings, procedures and specifications. -Conduct inspection of equipment received such as installation which includes internal installation for vessel/column, leveling and alignment in accordance with project specifications, procedures and approval. -Prepare construction records and data such as erection, installation, inspection reports, test reports and others. -Prepare the disposition/action for any Non-conformance Report (NCR) and Corrective Action Report in reference to the required project procedures/specifications.
