EMG's Gas Supply to Resume on March 14th

Ampal-American Israel Corporation, a holding company in the business of acquiring and managing interests in various businesses, announced that it was advised by East Mediterranean Gas Co. ("EMG"), in which Ampal has a 12.5% interest, that EMG informed its Israeli customers that the resumption of gas supply by EMG to Israel is expected, Monday, March 14th.

The resumption of gas supply is following the successful completion of the repair work and testing of GASCO's pipeline that was damaged in an explosion and fire on February 5th, 2011.
