Gazpromneft Lubricants has added G-Energy Antifreeze, a new line of cooling liquids, to its G-Energy product range. Intended for the cooling systems of gasoline and diesel engines, the new line comprises three products: G-Energy Antifreeze NF, G-Energy Antifreeze and G-Energy Antifreeze SNF.

The ethylene glycol-based antifreezes with state-of-the-art additives ensure efficient protection of engine cooling systems from freezing, overheating, corrosion and cavitation. The products are manufactured in two forms: concentrate and ready-to-use cooling liquid.

G-Energy Antifreeze SNF's additives are silicate-free which extends significantly the service life of the product, prevents formation of insoluble depositions on the metal surfaces of the engine and protects the engine itself from overheating. The synergetic composition of mono- and dicarboxylic acids ensures the long-lasting protection of all metal parts from corrosion, thus considerably reducing engine repair costs.

G-Energy Antifreeze SNF is suitable both for cars and commercial vehicles. The product is specially recommended for use in modern engines, where protection of aluminum parts at high temperatures is very important. Many hours of test runs have proved that efficient protection of engine cooling systems is guaranteed for no less than 650,000 km (8,000 hours) for lorries and buses, 250,000 km (2,000 hours) for cars and 12,000 hours (6 years) for industrial (stationary) engines. The cooling liquid's recommended change interval is after every five years of service or the specified mileage, whichever comes first. G-Energy Antifreeze SNF complies with the specifications of Ford, MAN, Daimler-Chrysler, DAF, MTU, Volkswagen (G12, G12+), GM, KAMAZ and AVTOVAZ.

G-Energy Antifreeze NF is hybrid antifreeze. With this cooling liquid, engine metal is protected from all types of corrosion. Containing no phosphates, this antifreeze is resistant to hard water, and a package of inhibitors in its formula protects engines from cavitation without nitrites or nitrite-containing additives. G-Energy Antifreeze NF meets the specifications of most European automobile manufacturers, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, GM, Man, IVECO, Volkswagen (G11), Audi, Seat, and Skoda. Similar to G-Energy Antifreeze SNF, this product can be used in mixed vehicle fleets.

G-Energy Antifreeze cooling liquid does not contain any silicates or phosphates that could precipitate in the cooling system and form depositions. To ensure environmental safety, this antifreeze is made free of such potentially environmentally hazardous substances as nitrides and amines. G-Energy Antifreeze complies with the U.K. Standard BS 6580 and the specifications of KAMAZ, YaMZ, and GAZ. In December 2011 the product was officially approved by AVTOVAZ and is recommended for maintenance service and operation of all LADA cars.
