Paradigm released the latest version of its industry-leading Geolog formation evaluation software suite. The new release, Geolog 7, combines the system’s technological superiority with a modern, user-friendly interface that is consistent across multiple platforms.
Geolog 7 focuses on improved ergonomics, with a new user interface that has a Windows look and feel, significantly enhancing ease of use and streamlining the learning curve. Menu-driven workflows have been replaced with dedicated, consistent workflow windows. New features include drag-and- drop data loading; an advanced core analysis and saturation height modeling module, and a complete audit trail that enables users to trace the history of any individual log.
“For close to thirty years, Geolog has served as the standard for well log data analysis, petrophysical analysis, and formation evaluation in the oil and gas industry,” said Richard Pelling, Geolog Product Manager. “Geolog 7 is the next step in the product’s evolution, with a new look and style, usability enhancements, and new application features. Together, they help users refine models quickly and easily and extract maximum value from existing data, resulting in higher performance and lower drilling costs.”
