Drilling Result of Exploration Well Wassa-1

PTTEP Oman Company Limited, a subsidiary of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP), which holds 100% participation interest in Oman Block 58.

PTTEP would like to report the drilling result of the first exploration well, Wassa-1 in Oman Block 58. Spudded on April 18, 2009, the well was drilled to a total depth of 4,275 meters on June 22, 2009 without any significant petroleum shows. The well will be written off within the accounting period of the second quarter 2009, with an approximate total cost of 450 Million Baht.

PTTEP will perform post-well geological study to evaluate the prospectivity and determine way forward of Oman Block 58.
