Middle East Electricity is committed to energising the industry through the transference of knowledge, playing host to three days of conferences which gather government ministers, industry experts and thought leaders to discuss key topics in the industry - past themes have included powering purpose built cities, green building and utility scale solar.

As part of Middle East Electricity’s dedication to supporting the development of the industry, the organisers also run the ‘Future Generation’ competition for undergraduate engineering students in the UAE. The competition invites students to present their ideas for energy efficiency or alternative energy with the hope of winning an award from either a panel of judges or the “People’s Choice Award” as voted for by visitors to the exhibition.
