The test in the upper Qishn S1 sandstone in Nabrajah-3 in Yemen produced 725 barrels of oil per day. This is the first test at this reservoir level at Nabrajah and the results are encouraging.

Based on the results from electrical logs, which indicated oil also in the shallower Qishn S1 level between 1.670 and 1.676 meters, it was decided to perform a production test at this level. A maximum oil rate of 725 barrels of oil per day was produced during the test. Some 3.700 barrels of water per day were also produced.

The main reservoir at Nabrajah is the upper Qishn S2 sandstone, and all three wells drilled at Nabrajah have encountered oil at this level. As reported in the Stock Exchange Notice dated 16 November 2004, the test in the Upper Qishn S2 sandstone in Nabrajah-3 produced ca. 2.200 barrels of oil per day

The test in the Upper Qishn S1 sandstone was conducted in the interval between 1670 - 1676 meters. This is the first test in the upper Qishn S1 sandstone at Nabrajah and the fact that moveable oil was confirmed at this level is encouraging.
