Target Engineering Construction Co, a Subsidiary of Arabtec Holding PJSC was awarded the contract for the Civil and Building Works for the GASCO Shah Gas Development Project in Abu Dhabi. The Contract was awarded by Saipem spa of Italy at a contract value of AED 206 Million. The period of construction is expected to be 33 months, starting March 1, 2011. Preliminary mobilization works have commenced.
The scope of works includes the construction of 12 Substation buildings and Instrument / Equipment Shelters with a total area of 20,000 sq. m. The scope of work also includes Engineering, Procurement and Construction of all MEP related works for these buildings.
