Lummus Technology has been awarded a contract valued at approximately US $140 million for cracking heaters for a Middle East petrochemical complex. The contract, which is scheduled to be complete in late 2009, consists of nine crackers for an ethylene plant with a capacity of 1,165 thousand metric tons per annum. In addition to this award, Lummus Technology is also providing the process technology and basic engineering under a separate contract.
