MAPNA Group Signs Contract to Construct F-Class Power Plant

MAPNA and Mani International Group have signed a contract to construct an F-class combined cycle power plant in northwest of Iran. The contract was signed on Monday, November 6, 2017, on the sidelines of the 17th International Electricity Exhibition (IEE) in Tehran.

The power plant, which will be among the very few privately-owned plants equipped with F-class turbines, will be constructed with a nominal capacity of 451 MWs in Aras Free Zone, East Azerbaijan Province. It will be equipped with gas and steam units, heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) with supplementary firing, air-cooled condenser (ACC), and a 400kv substation.

MAPNA Power Plants Construction & Development Company (MD1) and MAPNA Combined Cycle Power Plants Construction & Development Company (MD2) will serve as contractors of the project.
