Japan Firm Plans Licensing of Iran Petchem Projects

Japan’s Mitsubishi Chemical is finalizing several licensing agreements with a number of Iranian petrochemical companies.

Speaking to Shana on the sidelines of the Iran oil and gas show in Tehran, Kiyoshi Yukawa, manager of the company’s Technology License Center, said his company is a provider of new technologies in the petrochemical industry including the savvy required for production of C2, C3 and C4 derivatives.

“We are currently in talks with a number of Iranian companies for licensing their projects,” he added.
