GVA 7500 Drilling Unit -

GVA has a patented series of drilling units which of the GVA 7500 is the latest development. This design is developed on the experience from its predecessors GVA 3000, GVA 4000, GVA 4500 and GVA 5000. The GVA 7000 is as all our drilling units characterized by two pontoons, four columns, only two horizontal bracings and an upper hull deck-box. This design results in a safe, easy maintained and robust construction.
The GVA series of drilling units can be tailor-made for any customer need and requirements. Our standard designs are however, available in versions suitable for shallow water drilling and deep water drilling. From benign to harsh conditions and GVA 7500 is even available for arctic use. Many of the designs has been developed with the North Sea in consideration and hence all units in the GVA series can be offered in Compliance with rules and regulations globally including NORSOK. |
