Location  Neuquen Basin - Argentina
Scope  Coiron Amargo Block, which covers an area of 405 km2, is located onshore Neuquen basin, approximately 650 miles southwest of Buenos Aires. The northern 108 km2 of the 405 km2 block was converted to a 25 year exploitation concession (Coiron Amargo North) with the remainder of the block in the south (Coiron Amargo Sur) under an exploration license. In the block the Vaca Muerta formation contains shale resource potential and the Sierras Blancas formation contains conventional light oil.
