The inaugural Arabian Sea Region Oil & Gas 2015 Summit, is taking place on 26th -27th May in Oman, is the only high-level forum focusing on the oil and gas investment opportunities in the promising Arabian Sea and surrounding countries. Somalia, Yemen, Oman, Pakistan, Iran, India and Shri Lanka have already attracted the industry’s attention as new frontiers for exploration, with the majority of them already having proven reserves and actively looking for investment.
The Arabian Sea is still an unexplored region with vast potential. More seismic surveys are taking place with the area wtih new exploration plans really raising expectations. India is the largest and the most active country in the region, where in terms of hydrocarbon production, 78% of the country sedimentary area still remains unexplored.
The Arabian Sea Region Oil & Gas 2015 Summit will be a platform giving coverage to every aspect of the offshore and onshore developments in the region. Experts involved in the oil and gas industry of the area will examine and present on operational opportunities, challenges and regulations that will affect onshore exploration and offshore activities. There will be discussions around licensing rounds, investment opportunities, insights on the latest technology in use in these countries, and networking opportunities between the Governments, Authorities, specialists, IOCs, NOCs, key players of the region and service providers.
