With more than 70% of the today’s oil production coming from fields older than 10 years, oil and gas operators are now engaging in new price-responsive strategies to react accordingly to the low oil price environment, the big push is on the optimization of existing assets. In Egypt many of these operating companies are looking at ways to re-evaluate maintenance, inspection and turnaround practices to optimize asset efficiency and implement a robust asset integrity program.

Building on the success of the global AIM series the Asset Integrity Management Summit North Africa taking place from 23-25 November 2015 in Cairo, Egypt, will cover the current challenges being faced by the North Africa oil and gas operating companies in extending the life cycle of their aging assets and will focus on the tools and methodologies to successfully plan, initialize and implement high-level inspection, maintenance and integrity assurance framework to deliver, support and maintain asset capabilities to ensure it is safe, cost effective and reliable for operation.
This edition will highlight robust integrity practices to improve asset efficiency and extend the life-cycle and create a meeting point for asset integrity professionals from North Africa to share best practice and benchmark them.
