Oil Field Services: Oil & Gas Companies
An event dedicated to the Indian oil and gas industry has never been more fundamental. The oil and gas industry has been influential in stimulating India's economic growth; the petroleum and natural gas sector constitutes approximately 15% of the country's GDP. With the Indian economy expected to continue to demonstrate robust growth going forward, there is an emphasised need for wider and more intensive exploration for new finds, as well as more efficient and effective recovery.
Previous editions of this event have been highly successful. Over 800 professionals attended OGIC in 2012, making OGIC the largest SPE event in India, providing excellent face-to-face opportunities to interact and network with regional professionals and experts of the highest esteem.
Breaking Barriers—Converting Resources to Production is the theme of OGIC with more than 1,000 attendees expected regionally and globally. High-profile industry speakers will further expand the conference theme at the executive plenary session by discussing the need for partnerships involving business, government, and civil society, as well as exploring collaborative strategies for making current technologies more efficient by producing and distributing energy in potentially new ways. There will be executive plenary and panel sessions, as well as ePoster sessions and 18 technical sessions highlighting distinct subjects on drilling and completions, HSSE, EOR, production and more.
Oil and gas industry specialists will discuss important issues through six interactive panel sessions entitled, “Expediting Exploration—Enabling Energy Security,” “Monetising Assets—The Smart Way,” “Mature Fields—Reversing the Decline,” “HSSE—Leading a Cultural Change,” “HR—Bridging the Talent Gap,” and “Project Management—Excellence in Delivery.”
The exhibition running parallel to the conference will host some of the industry’s most renowned regional and international companies namely, Baker Hughes, Evonik, Halliburton, Netzsch, Quick Connectors, Schlumberger, SK Oilfield Equipment, Solar Turbines, Welltec, Worldwide Oilfield Machine, and Weatherford. These companies will showcase latest technological equipment, advanced solutions, and services in the oil and gas industry.
