Solarpack appoints new CEO in Latin America to accelerate its growth plan

José Luis García Pérez has been appointed new CEO of Solarpack in Latin America with the aim of strengthening the company´s presence in the region, where Solarpack has projects in Colombia, Peru, Chile and Ecuador.

Solarpack has announced José Luis García Pérez as the newly appointed CEO for its Latin American Business Unit to accelerate the growth of its operations in the region, where Solarpack has projects in Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia.

José Luis García Pérez has more than 20 years of experience in the renewable sector and has been Solarpack's Chief Development & Construction Officer since 2022.

With his appointment, Solarpack aims to strengthen its position in a strategic market for the company, that has a portfolio of solar, wind and energy storage projects of 5.5 GW between Colombia, Peru, Chile and Ecuador, with 889 MW contracted, out of which 621 MW are either operational or in the construction phase.

This appointment is central to Solarpack's strategy of empowering regional Business Units to grow strong local partnerships with customers, communities, investors, and other stakeholders, while benefiting from the balance sheet, benefits of scale, and support capabilities of a global renewable energy company.
