WFW Advises GreenGo on 120 MW BESS Project Acquisition

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised GreenGo S.r.l. (“GreenGo”), on the acquisition of the entire share capital of the project company for a state-of-the-art battery energy storage system (“BESS”) plant.

The project, which will have a total installed capacity of approximately 120 MW and 480 MWh of storable energy, will be located in the Province of Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy.

GreenGo is a leading Italian renewable energy developer, with a pipeline of 1.7 GW and 0.9 GW renewable projects pending approval.

The WFW Italy Energy team that advised GreenGo was led by WFW Italy Head and Partner Eugenio Tranchino and Counsel Matteo Trabacchin, assisted by Associates Dario Matrecano and Francesca Angelilli.
