Matthew Grosso Named Water Power Technologies Office Acting Director

Matthew Grosso was recently named acting director of the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE's) Water Power Technologies Office (WPTO). In this role, he leads strategy, management, and execution of WPTO's $200 million annual budget as the office works to advance research, development, and demonstration of hydropower and marine energy technologies.

DOE is looking for a dynamic, innovative, experienced executive to lead WPTO! The office’s director is a key member of the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s senior leadership team. The director oversees research and development of advanced technologies to transform U.S. hydropower and marine energy resources into clean, affordable, and domestically produced power.
