Recently, the 24.75-kilowatt rooftop distributed photovoltaic power generation project of Jiangsu Jiangyin Petroleum Huangtai Energy Station received a green electricity certificate issued by the National Energy Administration. This is the first green electricity certificate obtained by a sales company.
The green electricity certificate is an electronic certificate with a unique identification code issued for electricity generated by renewable energy power generation projects. It serves as the only proof of renewable energy electricity consumption and is used for electricity consumption accounting, consumption certification, etc.
In recent years, Jiangsu Petroleum has made full use of resources such as station roofs, terraces, and canopies to promote the construction of photovoltaic projects, adopting the "self-generation and self-use, surplus power to the grid" model, and has been integrated into the local national power grid. Currently, 436 photovoltaic power stations have been put into use. At the same time, according to the relevant requirements of the National Energy Administration, the National Renewable Energy Power Generation Project Information Management Platform is used to establish files and cards, declare electricity, and register ownership qualifications, accelerate the application of green electricity certificates, promote green electricity transactions, and help green and low-carbon transformation and development.
