The SP-905 well workover team of the Ecuador Project Department of Jianghan Petroleum Engineering International Cooperation Company successfully completed the construction of the LMNG-052 well. After the well was put into production, it achieved a crude oil production of 85 barrels per day. The well workover technology and production and operation organization capabilities of SP-905 team have been fully recognized by all parties, and Party A, PANATURI, praised its achievements.
The well is a directional well. During the early construction of the well, the perforating gun fell into the well and was not fished out, so only the upper oil layer could be exploited. In order to realize the exploitation of the lower oil layer and restore the well's productivity, Party A decided to let the SP-905 team work over the well.
The team operates in strict accordance with the specifications, strengthens the maintenance of equipment and facilities, maintains the equipment in good operating condition, and lays the foundation for safe production. Based on the fact that the fish caught in the mill (perforating gun) had no footage, the Chinese platform manager judged that the fish was rotating with the mill, and put forward a rational suggestion to abandon the mill and replace it with fishing spears, which was successfully adopted by Party A. After two salvages, the fishing spear successfully grasped the perforating gun at the bottom of the well more than 3,000 meters underground, and brought it to the surface as the drill pipe was pulled out, clearing the way for subsequent exploitation of the lower oil layer.
