Equinor Receives consent for use of gas lift without gas injection compressor

The Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority (Havtil) has given Equinor consent for the use of gas lift without a gas injection compressor on the Gina Krog field.

Gina Krog
Gina Krog is a field on the Utsira High in the central part of the North Sea, just north of the Sleipner Vest field. The water depth in the area is 110-120 metres. Gina Krog was discovered in 1978, and the plan for development and operation (PDO) was approved in 2013. The field is developed with a fixed platform with living quarters and processing facilities. Drilling is performed by a mobile jack-up rig. Production started in 2017.
