Buru Energy Limited advises that effective today, 15 August
2024, Mr Eric Streitberg has retired from his position as Chair of Buru and resigned his
position as a Director of the Company.
Subsequent to the resignation of Mr Streitberg the Board of the Company agreed to elect Mr
David Maxwell as Chair, effective immediately. Mr Maxwell was appointed as a Non-executive
Director of the Company on 29 July 2024.
Commenting on his retirement Mr Eric Streitberg said:
“As a founding shareholder, Chairman and Director of Buru for 14 years I am very pleased
to leave the Company in the capable hands of the new Chair David Maxwell and CEO Thomas
Nador.
Buru has an exciting future both in the near term with the planned drilling program and the
development of the game changing Rafael gas condensate field which also has the potential
for further value accretive discoveries.
My time at Buru has been exciting, and at times very challenging. The Buru team has
persevered and set the Company up for future success.
I am grateful to have made many friendships amongst the traditional owners in the Kimberley
during my time at Buru. I wish them and the Company all the best for the future.“
Commenting on his appointment Mr Maxwell said:

acknowledge and thank Eric for all he has done to build the Company and create the
opportunities now before us. His commitment and dedication is greatly appreciated.
