Gas Export Pipeline from Shuaiba to Khor Al Zubair Port has been Successfully Rehabilitated

The Oil Pipelines Company announced the completion of the rehabilitation works of the gas oil pipeline (8-10) knots extending from the Shuaiba pumping station to the Khor Al-Zubair oil port. The company's general manager, Mr. Ali Abdul Karim Al-Moussawi, said that the technical and engineering staff in the company were able to complete the rehabilitation works of the gas oil export pipeline 8-10 knots, with a distance of 46 km, which aims to increase the export capacity of gas oil fuel through the southern outlet. Al-Moussawi added that the rehabilitation process was completed in record time despite the weather conditions, indicating that the rehabilitation works included replacing the damaged sections of the pipeline, connecting new valves along the pipeline path, and completing the hydrostatic inspection of the pipeline, and that this achievement is added to the strategic achievements made by the ministry in the oil pipelines sector.
