AmeraMex International, Inc., a provider of heavy equipment for logistics companies, infrastructure construction and forestry conservation, announced that it has received orders totaling $1.1 million.
AmeraMex CEO Lee Hamre commented, "Orders remain strong this quarter for both new and refurbished heavy equipment. I would like to note that we have received an order for a new Firstgreen Industries' Electric Skid Steer Loader. The State of California is currently providing a Clean Off-Road Equipment Voucher Incentive Program (CORE) to accelerate the adoption of zero-emission construction machinery. The program provides substantial cash rebates to qualified contractors purchasing environmentally friendly equipment. We believe this program will encourage buyers to purchase electric equipment before its close.
According to Hamre, the following pieces of equipment were sold:
A Taylor Equipment loaded container handler modified to handle steel coils.
Two LiuGong 36,000-pound capacity forklifts.
One Taylor 92,000-Pound Capacity Forklift.
