Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Minister of Oil Hayan Abalghani Al-Sawad received a delegation from the American company "Hunt Oil" specialized in the field of extraction. The delegation included the company's CEO "Mark Gunnin", the company's Senior Vice President for International Projects "Lgor Salazar", the company's Vice President in Kurdistan and International Projects "Amos Sanders", the company's Vice President for Public Affairs "Paul Schulze", and the company's Regional Director in the Middle East "Charles Leary".
During the meeting, the projects that the ministry is keen to implement in the field of investment and development of oil and gas fields and patches were reviewed, and the provision of a safe environment for the work of international companies wishing to participate in the development of the oil and energy sectors in the country was emphasized. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Gas Affairs, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United States, the Prime Minister's Advisors for Oil and Energy Affairs, and the Ministry's Directors General.
