Progressive Water Treatment (PWT), a division of Water on Demand Inc., announces today that it has opened a new 21,500-square-foot headquarters in Sherman, Texas. The facility features a light manufacturing facility for water treatment equipment, a warehouse to expand in-stock filtration & pump inventory, and provides more rapid delivery to its customers.
The Grand Opening ceremony will be held on Tuesday, October 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. at 5225 W Houston, Sherman, TX 75092. The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Mayor of Sherman, David Plyler. Riggs Eckelberry, Co-Founder and CEO of OriginClear, plans to join the Mayor of Sherman, PWT President Marc Stevens, and PWT President of Sales Mike Jenkins, for the ribbon-cutting.
“Progressive Water Treatment has been growing its footprint in Texas for 25 years now, and we’re eager to continue that success with a new, state-of-the-art facility in Sherman,” said Tom Marchesello, Chief Operating Officer of OriginClear. “We are thrilled to have headquarters which will allow us to respond even more rapidly to customer demand and ramp up our production in a safe and sustainable way. We are also delighted to join the bustling technology community in the North Dallas area.”
The company’s new facility will feature two lines for manufacturing as opposed to one, along with a more open floor plan and improved logistics. The company currently has 25 employees and will be actively hiring ten additional staff members to fill open roles, including skilled workers, engineers, a design draftsman, a salesman, a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) & controls software technician, mechanical technicians, and welders.
“We chose to move the PWT location to Sherman because of what the area has to offer. It is one of the most sought-after locations for industrial manufacturing and also has access to major trucking routes, rail systems, and air freight,” said Riggs Eckelberry, CEO of OriginClear. “We look forward to providing world-class services to our local customers, and specifically to those within a three-hour drive, who will now be able to request next-day delivery.”
PWT employees will now thrive in an exemplary working environment, better school systems for their children, and an overall more favorable location.
