EnQuest PLC (the "Company") announces that, on 12 September 2024, it purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 5 pence each (the "Ordinary Shares") through Merrill Lynch International ("Merrill Lynch"). Such purchase was effected pursuant to the instructions issued by the Company in accordance with the share repurchase arrangements entered into with Merrill Lynch, as announced on 29 April 2024.

Since 29 April 2024, the Company has purchased 30,970,335 Ordinary Shares at a cost (including dealing and associated costs) of £4,216,954.52. Of those shares, 25,000,000 Ordinary Shares have been retained in Treasury and will be issued in due course to the Company's Employee Benefit Trust and 5,970,335 Ordinary Shares have been purchased for cancellation.
Following the cancellation of the purchased shares, there will be 1,909,954,004 Ordinary Shares in issue and 25,000,000 Shares in Treasury. The total voting rights in the Company will accordingly be 1,884,954,004. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
