SPIE Nederland, the Dutch subsidiary of SPIE, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, will integrate the Dutch company Achterhoek Antennebouw Aalten B.V., better known as TripleA. TripleA, which is the Dutch part of the mainly German-based ICG Group, was acquired by SPIE in April 2024 and will be transferred to SPIE Nederland on 1 October.
Founded in 1999, TripleA has extensive experience in the telecom services sector. The company operates as a full-service provider for the major telecom operators in the Dutch market, and also serves customers in Belgium and Germany. Based in Aalten, Achterhoek, TripleA has a team of 99 employees, including 82 technical specialists.
By bringing the Aalten firm under the umbrella of SPIE Nederland, they can form one SPIE company in the Netherlands; with a single face to the market and to their (future) clients. Robert Doornebosch, divisional director of SPIE, sees many opportunities: “With the transfer, we become a strong organisation with national coverage through the location in the east of the country. Commercially, it offers many opportunities for the entire SPIE organisation.”
Johan van Eerden, Managing Director of TripleA, is also positive: “It is nice to have a strong organisation behind us and to serve the market together. We speak the same language, both literally and figuratively, and our cultures fit together. We look forward to getting to know the SPIE organisation in the Netherlands better.”
