RECOM REPOWER, in collaboration with the company Thraki Mills I. Ouzounopoulos S.A., has successfully completed the installation of the largest industrial net-metering photovoltaic system with zero feed-in in Greece, with a total capacity of 1.2 MW. Thraki Mills, a company with over 100 years of experience in flour production, chose RECOM Repower as a reliable partner for the implementation of a photovoltaic project that meets its energy needs, reinforcing its vision for “green growth.”

In this project, Thraki Mills entrusted RECOM REPOWER with the entire process for licensing, study, design, construction, and management of the photovoltaic system.

The installation required 1,816 units of Recom Panther 660Wp Half-Cut PV modules and 10 Recom Zeus 100kW three-phase inverters, equipped with multiple MPPT. The new smart integrated MPPT algorithm of the system provides absolute control of the PV Generator, maximizing performance throughout the life of the installation.

The system offers an efficiency exceeding 99%, with IP66 protection, maintaining a low starting voltage and an exceptionally wide MPPT voltage range. Additionally, the Type II SPD protection for AC and DC reduces BOS costs, offering lightning protection. The Recom Smart Monitoring App allows real-time performance monitoring, providing significant convenience for both installers and customers.

The Recom Panther 660Wp PV modules have an efficiency of 21.25%, making them an ideal choice for rapid investment recovery. The linear performance warranty guarantees at least up to 84.95% efficiency by the end of the 30th year. They also prove to be highly efficient in extreme heat conditions and low solar radiation intensity.

The project’s goal is to harness solar energy and convert it into electricity through environmentally friendly photovoltaic systems. In Greece, the growth prospects of PV systems are enormous, due to the country’s high solar potential.

RECOM REPOWER and Thraki Mills remain committed to sustainable development, utilizing solar energy technologies for a better future.
