DP World, a global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions, announces the opening of a new freight forwarding office in Bogotá, Colombia. The new location expands DP World’s presence across the Americas, complementing existing operations in Ecuador and Peru and reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering end-to-end logistics solutions.
The Bogotá office offers a comprehensive suite of services, including FCL (full container load) and LCL (less container load) sea freight, air freight, domestic container road transport, international insurance, and customs services. The office primarily serves the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), retail, automotive, and high-tech sectors, helping companies in these industries improve their logistics operations and expand their reach into global markets.

The office is located in an eco-friendly building with an 80-point LEED certification, reflecting DP World's ongoing commitment to its “Our World, Our Future” sustainability strategy and environmentally responsible business practices. DP World will leverage its existing partnerships with the Dubai Chamber and the American Chamber to help promote its logistics services across the region.
Looking ahead, DP World plans to further expand its presence in Colombia, with a commercial office in Medellín set to open in 2025.
Since mid-2023, DP World has launched over 150 new freight forwarding offices globally, with 20 of these strategically placed throughout the Americas. This expansion complements the company’s existing operations in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Suriname. DP World plans to open more than 180 offices worldwide, with upcoming locations in Argentina, Mexico and Panama.
