Trinasolar's Vertex S+ Series n-type dual-glass rooftop modules have been honored with a Good Design Award, symbolized by the prestigious G-mark. This award was given for the module’s aesthetic design and outstanding performance, selected out of more than 5,000 entries worldwide. Previously, the module had been honored with the German Design Award and the International Design Excellence Award. This latest award further recognizes Trinasolar’s innovative design and the superiority of its products.

The Good Design Award, organized by Japan’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry, is one of the most influential design awards in Asia, often referred to as the “Eastern Oscar” for product design, and enjoys high levels of recognition worldwide. The judges of the Good Design Award consider a wide range of aspects, including visual design components such as color and shape, as well as more fundamental factors such as the processes of achieving goals, ideas, and meanings.

Trinasolar’s Vertex S+ series creates more visual quality for consumers and promotes aesthetics in solar energy. It incorporates a black design concept in every detail to achieve perfect black aesthetics. More importantly, high uniformity among all cells, between cells and frames, and between modules ensures integrity in building exterior design with almost no color disparity, making it particularly suitable in high-end residential settings such as carports, sunrooms, and corridors.

Trinasolar’s Vertex S+ series offers more green energy for customers. Based on advanced n-type TOPCon technology with 210mm rectangular silicon wafer (210R) cell technology, this module delivers a robust power output of up to 450W+ and an efficiency of 22.5%. It boasts a longer lifespan, exhibits less light-induced degradation, and achieves higher conversion efficiency. Over a 25-year period, this module can yield up to 15.1% more energy than a p-type module. The Vertex S+ Series also gained EPD Norway and EPD International recognition by TÜV Rheinland this year for its excellence in low-carbon practices.

Head of Global Branding and Marketing at Trinasolar, Cao Yunduan stated, “Trinasolar is proud of this latest achievement against fierce competition. Our Vertex S+ series modules represent a pinnacle of aesthetic innovation and performance in the solar industry, meeting global customers’ increasing needs for solar modules that are not only efficient and highly reliable but also aesthetically pleasing. Trinasolar is dedicated to innovation and respecting customer-oriented values, thus creating more leading PV products for global customers.”
