China Petroleum Network News (Reporter Zhang Jialiang, Correspondent Zhang Peng, Li Yiyong) On October 23, Northwest Sales successfully shipped 202.06 kg of high-purity hydrogen to the hydrogen refueling station of Gansu Sales Qingyang Branch. This marks that the company has successfully expanded its hydrogen energy purchase and sales business to Gansu after achieving commercial operation of hydrogen energy in Sichuan, Chongqing and Shaanxi.
Before the successful implementation of the project, Northwest Sales actively carried out market research and visited Qingyang Petrochemical, Gansu Sales and other companies many times to discuss matters related to the purchase, sale and transportation of hydrogen, to pool efforts and enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of self-produced hydrogen in the market.
The hydrogen source of Gansu Sales Qingyang Branch's hydrogen refueling station previously came mainly from Shaanxi and Ningxia, which had high costs and expensive freight. In response, Northwest Sales took the initiative to provide services and signed a hydrogen purchase contract with Qingyang Petrochemical. At the same time, it signed a transportation agreement with Kunlun Logistics Gansu Branch and arranged for a dedicated person to be responsible for shipping to ensure that Qingyang Petrochemical's high-purity hydrogen supply channel was smoothly opened. Northwest Sales achieved a 29% reduction in end-user procurement costs, better meeting the demand for hydrogen energy in surrounding areas.
