Following six successful years leading Svanehøj Service & Aftersales, Morten Christian Larsen will continue his career as Managing Director of Svanehøj Singapore. The role of managing the over 100 employees in the service division will now be assumed by Morten Brandborg, who most recently served as CEO of Green Instruments.

Since 2019, Svanehøj's Service & Aftersales business has grown by 550% in revenue. Over this period, the service and aftersales team has expanded from 16 locally based employees to more than 100 specialists across locations in Denmark, the UK, France, the USA, Singapore, Japan, Korea, China, and Dubai. As of today, Svanehøj stands as the largest global service provider for gas carriers and is unmatched in offering full scope service solutions for pumps, compressors, valves, and instrumentation for both LNG and LPG vessels.

These impressive results have been achieved under Morten Christian Larsen’s leadership, who is now moving on to a new role as Managing Director for Svanehøj Singapore after more than six years as Service & Aftersales Director. The position as Service & Aftersales Director will be taken up by Morten Brandborg, who brings substantial experience in management and sales from companies including Wärtsilä, ABB, Hydratech, and Desmi. Most recently, Morten Brandborg led a successful turnaround as the CEO of Green Instruments.

”I am very pleased that we will continue to benefit from Morten Christian Larsen’s expertise – now in a new role as Managing Director for our activities in Singapore and the UK. At the same time, I am confident that Morten Brandborg will continue the impressive progress we have seen in our service and aftersales business in recent years. With the growth plans we have for Svanehøj, we are fully focused on developing all areas of our business,” said Svanehøj CEO Søren Kringelholt Nielsen.

Returning to a transformed company
Morten Brandborg will officially begin his role as Service & Aftersales Director on November 1st. This marks a return to the Svanehøj headquarters, as he previously held positions as Sales Manager and Sales Director at the former Wärtsilä Svanehøj from 2012 to late 2018.

“Svanehøj is virtually unrecognizable from where it was six years ago. I am very impressed by the successful global expansion of the Service & Aftersales division, and I am excited to help drive the next phase of growth for the company", said Morten Brandborg.
