Wallenius Wilhelmsen is pleased to announce the appointment of Bjørnar Bukholm as the?new EVP and CFO. He will start no later than 1 May 2025.
A familiar face returns to Wallenius Wilhelmsen with the appointment of Bjørnar Bukholm as the company's new Chief Financial Officer.

Bjørnar Bukholm has been the CFO at Sector Alarm, one of the leading providers of home security in Europe, since 2019. Before Sector Alarm, Bukholm spent nearly 8 years at Wallenius Wilhelmsen holding several positions mainly within business development, strategy, finance and Investor Relations. When he left Wallenius Wilhelmsen in 2019, he served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance, Strategy & Investor Relations.
Bukholm holds a Master of Business and Economics from BI Norwegian Business School and he began his career in McKinsey & Company.

Bukholm will join the company no later than 1 May 2025. Jermund Lien, currently SVP Global Business Performance Management, will act as interim CFO from 1 November until Bukholm joins. The outgoing CFO, Torbjørn Wist, will leave the company on 1 December 2024.
