EnergyPathways plc (AIM: EPP), an energy transition company developing low carbon integrated energy solutions in the UK, is pleased to announce the appointment of an experienced senior engineering project team to oversee the development of its MESH project.

Derek Grimmer, appointed as Chief Operating Officer, is a successful Project Director and Senior Project Manager in the energy sector with more than 30 years' experience. He has led the delivery of high-value, large-scale development projects for a number of operators, in both staff and contracting roles, including CNOOC, BG Group, Apache, EnQuest and Shell. In his leadership roles he has developed wide ranging expertise in engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up and is an expert in Subsea tie-back Projects, involving the repurposing of existing infrastructure and the installation of new bespoke production systems. He holds degrees is both Engineering & Project Management, with a strong focus on HSE throughout the Project life-cycle.
James Poole, appointed as Facilities Engineering Manager, is a chartered consultant process facilities engineer with over 20 years' experience within the UK energy sector. James has performed a number of leadership engineering and operational roles with various companies including CNOOC, Apache and CNR. He is also a Chartered Chemical Engineer and an acknowledged subject matter expert in gas processing disciplines and the development of emissions reduction solutions, core skill sets for the MESH project development.
Simon Nicol, appointed as our Wells Manager, brings over 25 years of upstream energy experience in which he has held various senior positions for both operators and service companies including Total Energies, Shell UK, Maersk Oil & Gas, CNR International, Suncor, Baker Hughes and ADTI. Simon's knowledge, core skills & experience in offshore development drilling activities (NPNT & HPHT), including both platform and subsea development projects will be required for the MESH project and the Company's further growth plans.
