The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Extraction Affairs, Mr. Bassem Mohammed Khader, received today, Sunday, the Executive Director of the Chinese company "GeoJade", Mr. "Fan Jianbank" and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the development program of the "Naft Khana" field in Diyala Governorate, which is being implemented by the "GeoJade" company for the benefit of the Central Oil Company, and the "Huwaiza" field for the benefit of Maysan Oil Company, were discussed within the fifth licensing round for the development of exploration blocks.
The Undersecretary stressed that the goal of developing these fields is to explore natural gas reservoirs, stressing the ministry's support for international investment companies, emphasizing the importance of implementing projects according to the specified timetables and approved standards.
