The invitation was made during a speech delivered at the Africa Energy Week, which has been taking place since Monday in Cape Town, South Africa.
“Angola is open to foreign investment. We offer fair and competitive contractual and fiscal terms and conditions, advocating for a win-win relationship for all those who wish to invest in our country,” said Diamantino Azevedo, quoted by the MIREMPET on Facebook.
The minister also added that the State intends to work with neighboring countries in implementing cross-border solutions, “there is already a Presidential Legislative Decree that was approved in 2018 to establish the legal and fiscal regime applicable to the activities of exploration, production and sale of non-associated gas resources.
On the other hand, he stressed that the Africa Energy Week provides an opportunity to assess efforts and ensure that we build “an oil and gas industry that is beneficial and provides energy security for the African continent”.
