Zenobe Energy Limited (‘Zenobe’), one of the UK’s leading energy transition businesses, announces the retirement of Nicholas Beatty as Founder Director of the business.
Zenobe announces that Nicholas Beatty, one of the Founder Directors, will be retiring from the business.
Since Zenobe’s inception in 2017, Nicholas has been instrumental in the development of Zenobe, alongside the other Founder Directors Steven Meersman and James Basden.
In his role as Founder Director, Nicholas successfully led Zenobe’s financing activities across capital and debt raises. This includes equity raises of over £1 billion from private investors, including Tiger LLP, JERA, Infracapital and KKR, alongside debt raises of over £1 billion to support the company’s expansion.
Nicholas is confident that Zenobe is well-positioned to execute its plan for growth and continued innovation following the successful £500 million capital raise from KKR in September 2023. Zenobe has great opportunities ahead, across several markets, to substantially reduce the environmental footprint of both the energy and transport sectors and is poised to accelerate fleet decarbonisation and maximise the uptake of renewables in power grids.
