? Downhole production tubing, rods, pumps and Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) cable successfully installed in LF-05 and LF-06
? Downhole activities on final well (LF-04) expected to be completed within the coming days
? Metering skids, water lines and electrical connection work underway with all three wells on schedule to be placed on production by the end of November

TMK Energy Limited (“TMK” or the “Company”) is pleased to report that two of the three recently drilled pilot production wells at the Gurvantes XXXV Coal Seam Gas (CSG) Project, have been completed with the successful installation of downhole production tubing, rods, pumps and the DTS fibre optic cable installed on LF-05 and LF-06. The downhole activity in the final well (LF-04) is currently underway and is expected to be completed within the coming days.

The final phase of work underway as part of the commissioning is the tie in of the wells to the existing surface facilities. This work has commenced with the electrical connections and water lines being installed and the metering skids due to be connected to the new production wells in the coming weeks.

All site works and commissioning workflows are on schedule to be completed by the end of this month, at which point the additional three production wells (LF-04, LF-05 and LF-06) will be placed on production and will be available to complement the existing three production wells (LF-01, LF-02 and LF-03), essentially doubling the production capacity of the pilot well complex over the approximate 2km2 surface area.

Mr Dougal Ferguson, TMK Energy’s Chief Executive Officer commented:
“We remain on track to have six pilot production wells online by the end of November, which will double the pumping capacity of the field and accelerate the pathway to reaching the critical desorption pressure required to materially increase the gas production rates.

The new wells will be brought on production slowly in accordance with industry best practice and the Company’s overall reservoir management plan. It is expected that the pumps will be at full pumping capacity by early next year and that we will be able to periodically start measuring the pressure drop in the reservoir in Q1 2025.

The completion of this program is a significant step forward for the Company and the culmination of many months of work by our dedicated team in Mongolia and Australia. We will continue to provide regular updates to our shareholders of our progress, as we continue to strive towards our goal of becoming the first commercial producer of natural gas in Mongolia.”

For the purposes of ASX Listing Rule 15.5, the Board has authorised for this announcement to be released.
