China Petroleum Network News (Reporter Li Jiaqi, Correspondent He Yi, Liu Jialin) On November 25, reporters learned that PetroChina (Tianjin) Fuel Oil Co., Ltd. was successfully approved for Tianjin's international shipping bonded fuel oil refueling qualification, marking that PetroChina's bonded ship fuel terminal network layout has achieved full coverage of major coastal ports from south to north.
Bonded fuel supply for international ships is an important indicator to measure the strength of port supporting service capabilities, and is also an important path to develop green trade and green shipping. The fuel oil company's ship fuel business is aimed at promoting the transformation and upgrading of refining and chemical enterprises to "reduce oil and increase special products, reduce oil and increase chemicals" and enhance the competitiveness of the industrial chain. The business license approved this time is not only the first local license for bonded fuel oil refueling in the northern region, but also the sixth local bonded oil business license approved by the fuel oil company after obtaining the bonded oil business qualifications in five places in the south, further consolidating the foundation for the construction of the group company's national ship fuel business marketing pattern.
Since the fuel oil company realized unified sales of marine fuel business in December 2021, it has seized development opportunities and successively obtained six licenses in Zhoushan, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xiamen and Tianjin, and initially formed a marketing layout of major ports in the Yangtze River Delta, the Greater Bay Area and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The refueling volume of self-operated terminals has continuously broken records, and this year it is expected to exceed 4 million tons, injecting new impetus into the high-quality development of the coastal port economy.
The fuel oil company will firmly grasp the trend of sustained growth in international shipping trade, anchor its positioning as a "comprehensive energy supplier for ships", accelerate the refueling of biomass energy, LNG, "blue ammonia", "green ammonia" and other new energy fuels for ships, and make greater contributions to the group company's construction of a world-class enterprise.
