Hoku Energy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Manies group, a leading investment firm discovering the growth field of next-generation technology including AI and infrastructure. As a medium-term goal, Manies is committed to developing businesses that will contribute the transition to decarbonization.

Hoku Energy Group undertakes projects and activities across the green hydrogen and ammonia value chains throughout Asia. Its mission is to deliver carbon-free energy solutions to leading industrial players with ambitions and commitments to achieving carbon neutrality by 2030 and beyond.

As part of this initiative, Hoku Energy K.K., a key operational arm of the Hoku Energy Group, is actively forming strategic partnerships with entrepreneurial industry players like Manies as well as local communities in order to develop project pipelines in Japan, one of the leading markets in the sector. Through this partnership, both parties aim to evaluate and advance green ammonia and hydrogen projects in a select region of Western Japan area, with plans to move forward to feasibility and front-end engineering design (FEED) studies as the next steps.
