The Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority (Havtil) has carried out an audit of Macro Offshore Management (MOM) and its management and follow-up of working environment conditions on Haven.
The audit was conducted from 23 to 28 August 2024 and forms part of our processing of MOM’s application for an Acknowledgment of Compliance (AoC) for Haven.
Objective
The objective of the audit was to monitor the status of conformity assessments of the facility’s technical condition, organisation and management systems relative to the regulatory requirements pertaining to the working environment.
Result
We identified three non-conformities during the audit. These concerned:
Decision support
The management system within the working environment
Analysis of the working environment
We also identified one improvement point relating to employee participation and the working environment committee (AMU).
What happens now?
We have asked MOM to report to us on how the non-conformities will be addressed and for their assessment of the improvement point observed. The deadline for this is set at 2 December 2024.
Before we issue an AoC, the company must have corrected all known safety-critical non-conformities, and the facility must have been issued with maritime certificates from the appropriate flag state.
