Centrica plc announces that it purchased on 3 December 2024 (through Goldman Sachs International) 911,788 Centrica plc ordinary shares of 6 14/81 pence each at a price of 130.1700 pence per share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Such purchase was effected pursuant to the Company's buyback programme announced on 8 August 2024 and in accordance with the non-discretionary share repurchase agreement entered into with Goldman Sachs International.
Since 8 August 2024, Centrica has purchased 114,523,033 ordinary shares at a cost (excluding dealing and associated costs) of £138,466,441.39.
Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 458,250,463 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 5,109,856,751 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
