With his extensive experience in port operations and his previous role as deputy terminal manager at Port of Kapellskär, he is a natural choice to lead one of Sweden's most important freight ports.

Danjel Jansson has served as deputy Technical Operations Manager at Port of Kapellskär for the past two years. He assumed his new role at the beginning of the year and succeeds Peter Lundman, who is moving on to new challenges within the company after many years of loyal service.

"We are delighted that Danjel Jansson has accepted the role of Technical Operations Manager at Port of Kapellskär," says Magdalena Bosson, CEO of Ports of Stockholm. "With his experience and expertise, I am confident that he will contribute to the further development and strengthening of our operations at Kapellskär in an excellent way."

Before joining Port of Kapellskär, Danjel worked for 10 years as a port and marine contractor with various assignments in areas such as stevedoring, ship loading and unloading, machinery contracting, and sea transport. Previously, he has also held roles in customer relations and administration.

"I am really looking forward to working together with the skilled team at Port of Kapellskär to develop our cooperation with our customers and partners," says Danjel Jansson, Technical Operations Manager at Port of Kapellskär. "Together, we will capitalise of the port's unique potential and development opportunities."

The Port of Kapellskär, Ports of Stockholm's northernmost port, is a vital hub for freight and passenger traffic in the Baltic Sea region, with regular ferry connections to Finland and Estonia. The port handles over half a million passengers and nearly 3 million tonnes of freight annually.
