IDC Commences Drilling 1st Well in the East Baghdad South Field

The Iraqi Drilling Company has started drilling operations in the first well within the project to drill 18 oil wells in the East Baghdad South field, for the benefit of the Chinese company EBS, as part of its strategic plans to support and develop the oil sector in Iraq.

The project aims to enhance oil production and develop oil fields, which contributes to supporting the national economy, with the company's commitment to applying the highest standards of quality and occupational safety according to the approved technical plans.

The technical and engineering staff continue to work with high efficiency to achieve distinguished achievement rates, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Oil to increase production and develop the infrastructure of oil fields.
