New Technology Seminar Hosted by Schlumberger

Over 100 people attended a new technology seminar hosted by Schlumberger on 9th November at the RIXOS Hotel in Tripoli. The focus of the seminar was on directional drilling, formation evaluation and drilling risk mitigation and on applying new and existing technologies in addressing specific drilling challenges in Libya. Participation in the seminar was wide ranging and included attendees from NOC, Joint ventures companies and IOC’s.

The workshop ended by open discussion between the attendees and Schlumberger specialists and expertise in drilling operations. Local & expats employees participated to conduct the lectures.Schlumberger have shown a wide range of technologies to assist their clients in reducing well delivery time and enhancing well placement for optimized production
